Our circle leaders have their sights set on big dreams and big goals, and they see the opportunity to be a trusted circle leader in their community and our Mad Genius community-at-large as a way to help them reach their big vision. At the same time, they are heart- and community-led, knowing that in order to build their own legacy, they must make an impact on others.

Ongoing weekly support

Circle leaders will receive a Mad Genius Planner to help guide their first year with systems to help you execute events, get sponsors, start and lead women’s groups, and other resources. Weekly posts in our private Facebook group will feature tips, tricks, and homework to help grow and strengthen their circle, and every month, we will have video calls for all circle leaders in clusters of 10.

3 in-person retreats

To kickoff #100Circles, we will be having 3 in-person retreats in 2025. These retreats will focus on your personal growth and potential mixed in with how we can better serve our circle members and strengthen every single women entrepreneurs ecosystem. Our kickoff retreat will be held in our First Circle, our summer retreat will be a camping lake retreat, and our final retreat will be held in our strongest new circle (TBD) at the end of the year.

Our founder, Shawndra Russell, has been a serial entrepreneur for 20 years with experience buying a legacy business, founding InvestHER Asheville and Mad Genius Foundation, and growing the second-most booked food tour in the world. She’s also interviewed, collaborated with, and organized events with thousands of entrepreneurs.

    • Must have a heart- and community-led mission for their business and life vision

    • If you're uncomfortable speaking in public or meeting new people, do not apply.

    • Must have at least one business in operation or one startup idea ready to launch

    • Ideally already has a solid base of connections in their local community and ideally, their region (or really, really wants to!)

Circle leaders will hold their position for 1 year, with first option to continue every year or pass the torch to another woman in your community and must be located at least 75 miles outside of Hartford, Tennessee, which is the center of #Circle1.

#100Circles officially launches on January 1, BUT….

We are launching our first VIP Cohort for up to 10 Circle Leaders starting October 1!

During this 6-week program, you will embark on an incredible behind-the-scenes experience during our 4th Quarter Sprint as we curate and execute our Fall 3-Part Series for women, Co-Creating Our Futures. This sprint officially starts Monday, September 9, and Shawndra will share ongoing private videos reflecting on lessons learned with the first 10 Circle Leaders. You will also get early access to our tested guidebook for how to connect and fortify your Circle, processes and systems you will need to implement, and be able to ask our community questions anytime.

We will start building your Circle immediately together with weekly live trainings and challenges that will help rocket fuel your personal and professional 2025 and beyond goals while helping the women in your Circle do the same.
