New Weekly Meetups: Tuesday Coffee 10am, Thursday Pickleball 9am and Thursday Fireside Chats 5pm

Mad Genius Studios is focusing full-time on our nonprofit, Mad Genius Foundation (EIN 99-2974373) to help support the recovery and regeneration of the region's small business community. Tomorrow, Monday, October 21 (UPDATE: Delivery will now take place on TUESDAY, October 22 due to the shippper) we will be welcoming a shipment of supplies from our founder's hometown of Camden, Ohio between 2-6pm. Our founder's hometown heroes set up trucks in the middle of town at a local business to be filled with supplies for the past two weeks and are driving down to be delivered to Beloved Asheville tomorrow to deliver. Event details and volunteer needs here: https://www.facebook.com/events/8464505940299090

We are also launching several weekly events to support our Women in Business community:

We would love your support in spreading the word about these events designed to focus on the Haves, Needs, and Wants of our region's women entrepreneur ecosystem, and of course, we would love for media coverage to be present tomorrow during the delivery and volunteer efforts happening between 2-6pm tomorrow at Beloved Asheville (my understanding is that they are still setting up at Highland Brewing Company and I will confirm with Beloved in the morning).

Thank you so much for your time and support. We have a long road to recovery and regeneration, but the powerful and supportive community we have built and help connect since opening our doors at 121 Sweeten Creek Road Suite 20 Asheville NC 28803 (the only office that did not flood in the Asheville Design District/Biltmore Village area that we are aware of) on January 1, 2024 has put us in a position to help support all the women-owned small businesses that need it now more than ever.

We have also moved our Woman-Owned Table or Treat event from this Friday, October 25 to Friday, December 6 from 12-8pm as a Holiday Bonanza to encourage shopping and support for our local economy: https://www.facebook.com/events/1974881046265043. We are in the works to reschedule our exclusive screening of Show Her The Money documentary that was slated to take place at A-B Tech on Friday, October 11 for that same week and will keep you posted on that date. Our goal is to create a "Women Entrepreneurs & Leaders" Week for December 2-6. We hope to firm up details for that week during this upcoming week (and hope to announce the launch of WELW weeks in other cities in our #HurricaneHeleneRecovery region soon).

Please let me know if you would like to schedule an interview with our founder Shawndra Russell or any of the many connected business owners and leaders that are part of our community. You can text or call our nonprofit at 828-209-9897 anytime.

Thank you for your time. We hope to see some of you tomorrow (NOW TUESDAY, OCTOBER 22) as part of the Welcome Wagon.
