#100Circles: Connecting Women Entrepreneur Ecosystems

In July, I signed up for the Entire Entrepreneur System through Making It Creative. This 12-week program focused on the 5 Is:

  • Impact

  • Integrity

  • Income

  • Interests

  • Intimacy

Tony taught us so much about how to be a complete entrepreneur. This VIP Cohort program pushed us to think about the biggest impact we can make as an entrepreneur and think about long-term goals and the big picture. Part of our work was to focus on a Big Creative Project. We met several times a week to push towards this big goal and big idea, and the result for me was #100Circles. The concept is to create world abundance through strong women entrepreneur ecosystems, and with just 100 Circles, we can eventually connect women entrepreneur ecosystems across all of America.

A circle of women may just be the most powerful force known to humanity. If you have one, embrace it. If you need one, seek it. If you find one, for the love of all that is good and holy, dive in.
— Jeannette LeBlanc

This lofty goal starts with a few founding members who connect deeply with this vision. Women who are natural connectors, community builders, and believers in the power of circles of women. Women who love planning events, aren’t afraid to use their voice for good, and those who are searching for deeper meaning and connection.

I have been a serial entrepreneur for 20 years, and have lived in Asheville for the past 10. In that time, I have gone to hundreds of meetups, networking events, and other opportunities to connect with our small business community. I have interviewed more than 1,000 small business owners and leaders for podcasts and magazines and newspapers as well as curating hundreds of events to support women entrepreneurs. I have also invested in many conferences, masterminds, and other programs focused on community building, including an 8-week mastermind in May through the Western Women’s Business Center.

Now in the wake of Hurricane Helene, the need for community and support is greater than ever. I hope that a tragedy like this never hits your community, but it has reiterated how important circles of women truly are. We have seen so many women entrepreneurs in our community step up and start fundraisers, volunteer, coordinate supplies, and so much more. With a population of just 100,000, Asheville is a tight-knit community of small business owners, and we will rebuild together.

The community and connections I have formed are what sustain me and my business through this hardship. My mission through this program is to help you become the glue for your women entrepreneur ecosystem so that you can create connections and your own community that will support one another in good times and in bad. Just yesterday, I texted with 10 women to coordinate brainstorming sessions this week about the Western North Carolina recovery and ways we can help. Having so many women to reach out to who have become friends through business is a powerful resource, and I am grateful for these relationships and all the ways we support one another. It has certainly given my business more purpose, more meaning, and infused a whole lot more fun into work.

If you’re ready to grow your business, connect more deeply with women in your community, and create a network that will support you through any curveballs that life, business, or Mother Nature can throw at you, read more about becoming a founding member here:

I can’t wait to share all I have learned through decades of entrepreneurship and help you become a more connected, stronger, and wealthier woman. Through my work as co-founder of InvestHER Asheville, we have learned a lot about how wealthier women equal healthier families, communities, and economies. And while world abundance is a lofty goal, it takes all of us pushing in different ways to reach that place. We hope you will join our journey as a founding member of #100Circles and help create a tighter-knit local community with you at the helm that eventually will span out to your entire region.

We start January 2. If you think you might be the right fit for our first cohort, send an email to hello@madgeniusstudios.com. Together, we can make your 2025 more impactful and prosperous and lay the foundation for a community you can count on for the years to come.

Local women: While #100Circles is designed for leaders outside of the Asheville community, we will be launching an in-person 6-week bootcamp to condense the 5 Is of the Entire Entrepreneur System soon. Please reach out if you’re interested in joining this intimate experience.
